Cross-border trips mix currencies fast: a Windsor or Detroit night, a Vegas weekend, a European holiday — and each stop plays in its own money. Converting in your head at the table is how records drift. The habit that keeps the ledger straight is simple: log every session in the currency you actually played in, and convert only when you look at totals.
Each dealt.win session carries its own currency — CAD, USD, EUR, or GBP, chosen at session setup. Every entry on that session — bets, buy-ins, cash-outs, costs, comps — is recorded in that currency, with its own symbol on every amount. A CAD session reads in C$ end to end; nothing inside it is silently converted.
The venue you pick does not force a currency — set the one you actually played in, even if it differs from the room's home money.
Totals across sessions roll up to a display currency you choose, using a rate you set in settings — CAD per US dollar, defaulting to 1.40, with fixed reference values for EUR and GBP. The rate is yours to adjust as the market moves.
Changing the rate restates the roll-up views; it never rewrites a recorded session. Every session keeps its native amounts, so you can re-state history under a new rate at any time.
The insights tab has a by-currency view next to the all-in breakdown: results grouped by what you played in, before any conversion. That is the honest first read — a C$400 night and a $400 night are not the same night, and the by-currency view keeps them distinct until you deliberately compare them in one display currency.
Per-session figures always stay native; only the cross-session roll-ups are converted.
